Episode 12 - Outdo One Another in Showing Honor

Posted on Wednesday, Feb 5, 2020
Following up on a point in the previous Marriage episode, we take a look at the phrase, Outdo one another in showing honor, which actually comes from Romans chapter 12. What does that mean? And how do we do it? Here are some examples.

Show Notes

The Burnsland Podcast is back again with the 12th episode, and this one picks up where the last one left off, sort of.

Last time in the discussion on marriage, I mentioned a particular phrase, “Outdo one another in showing honor.” That is actually a Bible verse, coming from Romans 12:10. While that was mentioned rather briefly in Episode 11, I thought it would be good to discuss a little further, and so that is the focus here in Episode 12.

What does it mean to show honor? And how do we outdo each other in doing it? Listen in to hear some thoughts and ideas on that.

As you might be able to tell, many of these podcast episodes tie together, and many of them are around the same central theme. How we treat others is one of the most important things in our lives. That can make all the difference in the world. And it can even change the world, at least where we are.

So outdo one another in showing honor. I dare you!
